Artists for Grenfell donations made available to survivors

It has been eight weeks since ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ was released. The charity single, with all proceeds going towards those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire, was a collaboration between over 50 different artists, organised by Simon Cowell.

We are delighted to announce that payments from Artists for Grenfell will be made to the surviving families – with £2,000 per household. Further payments will be made in due course as we continue to consult with survivors.

Additional payments from other charities and appeals going out this week include £10,000 per family from the Kensington & Chelsea Foundation and £13,000 per family from our Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund. This means that each of the 158 survivor families will be paid a further £25,000 this week and will have received relief totalling £37,000.
